PetscViewerBinaryReadAll#

reads from a binary file from all MPI processes, each rank receives its own portion of the data

PetscErrorCode PetscViewerBinaryReadAll(PetscViewer viewer, void *data, PetscInt count, PetscInt64 start, PetscInt64 total, PetscDataType dtype)

Collective; No Fortran Support

Input Parameters#

viewer - the PETSCVIEWERBINARY viewer
count - local number of items of data to read
start - local start, can be PETSC_DETERMINE
total - global number of items of data to read, can be PETSC_DETERMINE
dtype - type of data to read

Output Parameter#

data - location of data, treated as an array of type indicated by dtype
