Output Parameters
| basic | - doing basic debugging

| eachcall | - checks the entire memory heap at each PetscMalloc()/PetscFree()
|
| initializenan | - initializes memory with NaN
|

By default, the debug version always does some debugging unless you run with -malloc_debug no
