# DMPlexMetricSetUniform
Record whether a metric is uniform 
## Synopsis
```
#include "petscdmplex.h"   
PetscErrorCode DMPlexMetricSetUniform(DM dm, PetscBool uniform)
```

## Input parameters

- ***dm      -*** The `DM`
- ***uniform -*** Is the metric uniform?





## Note
If the metric is specified as uniform then it is assumed to be isotropic, too.
