# DMPlexCheckSymmetry
Check that the adjacency information in the mesh is symmetric. 
## Synopsis

PetscErrorCode DMPlexCheckSymmetry(DM dm)
```

## Input Parameter

- ***dm -*** The `DMPLEX` object





## Notes
This is a useful diagnostic when creating meshes programmatically.
