# DMPlexCreateHexCylinderMesh
Creates a mesh on the tensor product of the unit interval with the circle (cylinder) using hexahedra.

## Input Parameters

- ***comm      -*** The communicator for the `DM` object
- ***periodicZ -*** The boundary type for the Z direction



## Output Parameter

- ***dm  -*** The `DM` object
