Set the dimension index associated with a given slot/sub-`DM`

## Input Parameters

- ***dm -*** the `DMPRODUCT`
- ***slot -*** which dimension slot, in the range 0 to dim-1
- ***idx -*** the dimension index of the sub-`DM`
