"mat" and "rhs" contributed by Stephen R. Ball. They cause integer overflow in spooles-2.2, which is fixed on June 12, 2006. type=aij, rows=89600, cols=89600 total: nonzeros=446560 ------------------------------------- Dear PETSc team. This CD is sent in response to a communication between myself and the PETSc team via the petsc-users mailing list. I have recently installed PETSc v2.3.1 and have discovered that it fails to solve certain problems when using Spooles. These problems were being solved successfully when using PETSc v2.3.0. I am using Spooles downloaded from the the PETSc ftp site and built into PETSC_DIR/externalpackages. Included on this CD is an example of one of the problems that fail to solve. "mat" and "rhs" are the matrix and RHS in binary format as generated by MatView() and VecView() respectively. Would you kindly investigate this and see whether or not you replicate the results I have been getting. Kindest Regards Mr Stephen R.
